How to Enable Cookies for Some Websites in IE8
Internet Explorer 8, which sprang to life in 1995 as IE1, is the default browser that Microsoft includes with Windows 7. IE8 allows websites to store cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small string of information that websites use to track your visits. Cookies, for example, can help a site remember your color preferences when you return to the site. If you only want certain websites to store cookies in IE8, you can prevent other sites from doing so by adjusting the browser's security settings.

Tips & Warnings
After updating your IE8 cookie settings, cookies that already exist on your computer still remain. Your new security settings only affect sites you visit after applying those settings. Delete those old cookies if you do not want them on your hard drive.
