How to Draw a Wreath
Wreaths are commonly-seen decorations that adorn the doors and walls of many homes. Wreaths can be decorated to suit any occasion or holiday, from Christmas to Independence Day. If you would like to try drawing a wreath, you may find that it is even easier to accomplish than expected. Your hand-drawn wreath can be created for any holiday you wish, and would be perfectly suited to decorate a seasonal card sent to a friend or family member.

1
Draw a large circle onto your paper. Inside the center of the large circle, draw a much smaller circle. The shape you have just created should look similar to a doughnut.
-
2
Draw a small, vertical egg shape that descends from the center of the smaller circle. This egg shape will become the center of the bow of your wreath.
-
-
3
Draw the feathery leaves that stick out from your wreath, by sketching wave-shaped lines that protrude out from the outer edge of the doughnut shape. Draw these same lines protruding out from the center edge of the doughnut shape. Then, erase the lines of the initial circles that were drawn in Step 1.
-
4
Draw a dog bone-shape that extends out from both sides of the center of the egg-shape created in step 2. You will now have created the outer edges of the bow of your wreath.
-
5
Create two wide tails for the bow of your wreath. The tails should start in the center of the bow, and extend out in either direction, falling below the bottom edge of the wreath. To make the tails of the bow appear more realistic, finish them by drawing an arrow shape at the bottom of each tail that points up toward the top of the wreath.
-
6
Draw two short, horizontal lines along each side of the center egg-shape part of the bow. These lines will make your bow appear puckered in the center.
