How to Share Pandora Music on Twitter

Share your favorite music.

Pandora is a streaming music site that allows you to create personalized radio stations based on the music you love. You can share that music with your friends via email and social networking sites, including Twitter. Pandora's developers have made this a simple process that will allow you to send a Twitter update, or tweet, with a link to the song or station you want to share. You can also add comments about the music to encourage your friends to listen.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your Pandora account by clicking the "sign in" link near the top of the page, then entering the email address and password associated with your Pandora account. If you do not have an account, click "register now" and follow the prompts to create one.

2. Choose the Pandora station you want to listen to from the list at the left side of the Pandora interface window. If you don't have any stations or want to create a new one, click "Create a New Station" and follow the prompt to enter song or artist information where indicated.

3. Click the "Share" button, located next to the pause button, then click the Twitter icon, which is light blue with a lowercase "t."

4. Select either the option to share the station you are listening to or the song that is currently playing. You can add to or edit the text contained in the field below those options to complete the message you want to share along with the hyperlink, up to a total of 140 characters. Click "Tweet" when you have finished.

Tips & Warnings

• If you have never authorized Pandora to have access to your Twitter account, you will be prompted to allow that access.
