How to Post Business Listing Addresses on Google
Google Places functions as a directory service for businesses worldwide. Once you're registered with Google Places, your business will come up in Google search results and will appear in the appropriate location in Google Maps searches. In addition to basic contact information you can also information such as hours of operation, types of payment accepted and images of your store. You can set up a Google Places entry by logging into your Google account and filling out a single submission form.

Open your Web browser and navigate to the Google Places website at www.google.com/placesforbusiness

Log in to your Google account with your email address and password, then click the "Sign in" button.

Type your phone number in the text field. Click "Find Business Information." Google will search its current listings for any information that it already has about your business.

Select your country from the drop-down menu, then type in your company's name, address, phone number, email, and website information under the "Basic Information" heading.

Type a description of your business in the "Description" field, then type in the "Category" of business that you operate in that field. You can specify up to five categories per business.

Click the radio button next to "No" or "Yes" to indicate whether you serve customers off the business's premises.

Click the radio button next to "My operating hours are" if you wish to post operating hour information to Google.

Check the box next to each type of payment that you accept under the "Payment options" heading.

Click the "Browse" button under the "Photos" heading if you want to include a photo of your business. Once you've located the photo, click the "Add Photo" button to upload the image to Google.

Click the radio button next to "Add a photo from the web" if you want to link an online photo to your business listing. Type the URL of the photo in the text field and click the "Add Photo" button to save the image to your listing.

Type the URL of a YouTube video that features your business in the field under the "Videos" heading and click "Add Video" to associate it with your listing.

Type any other information that you wish to share in your Google Places listing under the "Additional Details" heading.

Click the "Submit" button when you've completed the form. Google will contact you via email or telephone to verify your changes.
