How Can I Get My Pictures From My Samsung Gravity Phone to My Computer?

After you take pictures with your Samsung Gravity phone, you may want to send the pictures to friends, edit or print them on your computer. Phones have a number of different capabilities and sometimes it is hard to figure out how to transfer the pictures to your computer. You can move the pictures from your phone to your computer three ways with the Samsung Gravity.

Things You'll Need

  • USB cable
  • Bluetooth device
  • Bluetooth capable computer
  • Samsung New PC Studio application
  1. Memory Card

    • 1

Press "Menu" on the front of your phone.

    • 2

Tap "Settings," "Phone Settings" and "PC Connections."

    • 3

Select "Mass Storage," which allows you to access the memory card on your phone where your pictures are stored.

    • 4

Plug a USB cable into the left side of your phone and then into the computer. The phone will show "Connected" on its screen and a new drive will show up in "My Computer" on your computer.

    • 5

Double-click "My Computer," and then the new drive to open the memory card.

    • 6

Click on a picture then hit "Ctrl" and "C" simultaneously to copy the picture.

    • 7

Go to the location where you want to save the picture on your computer, and hit "Ctrl" and "V" at the same time to paste or place the picture in that location. You can also click on the picture and drag it to the location where you want rather than use copy and paste.

    Bluetooth

    • 1

Tap the Widget bar tab, which is the tab with the arrow on the left side of your home screen and select "Bluetooth." Tap "Turn On" to ensure Bluetooth is turned on and discoverable.

    • 2

Verify Bluetooth is turned on and discoverable on your computer. Click "Start," which is represented by the Windows icon and then "Control Panel." Click the drop down arrow next to "View by" and ensure it is set to "Category." Select "Add a device" under "Hardware and Sound." Click your phone and then "Next" to connect the phone and computer.

    • 3

Tap the "Widget" bar, the tab at the left of your home screen and touch "Photo." Find the picture you want to send to your computer and click it to open the photo.

    • 4

Press "Send Via," "Bluetooth" and the destination device, in this case, your computer.

    Samsung New PC Studio

    • 1

Download "New PC Studio" from the Samsung support website if it is not already on your computer.

    • 2

Press "Menu" on the front of your phone. Tap "Settings," "Phone Settings" and "PC Connections," and select "Samsung PC Studio."

    • 3

Connect your phone and computer with a USB cable. Double-click the "Samsung New PC Studio" application on your computer if it does not automatically launch.

    • 4

Click the "Media Manager" icon in the PC studio and click the icon for your phone. Your media files, including photos, will come up.

    • 5

Click on any pictures you want to put on your computer and drag them to your desired location.
