How to Insert a PowerPoint Into a PowerPoint Loop

How to Insert a PowerPoint Into a PowerPoint Loop thumbnail
PowerPoint includes a loop option for continuous shows.

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 presentations can loop continuously for a smooth transition from the end of your show to the beginning of the same show. This presentation style works well in trade shows, for example, where a new audience can view the presentation at different times. The Command ribbon contains a "Slide Show" tab with commands to modify your presentation. The "Set Up Slide Show" button will display your show options for your PowerPoint slides.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open the saved PowerPoint file.

    • 2

      Click the "Slide Show" tab.

    • 3

Click the "Set Up Slide Show" button on the "Set Up" group. A dialog box entitled "Set Up Show" will appear.

    • 4

Check "Loop continuously until 'Esc'" in the "Show options" section.

    • 5

      Click "OK."

Tips & Warnings

  • To restrict changes to a looped presentation, click the radio button for "Browsed at a kiosk (full screen)" in the "Show type" section.
