How to Upload a Display Picture on Tumblr

Tumblr is a micro-blogging website that allows you to post texts, photos and videos through your computer or smartphone. Displaying a picture onto your Tumblr site can give your audience a better idea of who you are or the topics you want to discuss. Uploading a display picture is a simple process that can be accomplished in a few clicks.

Instructions

1. Launch your Web browser. Go to tumblr.com/themes to upload a picture. Log in to Tumblr with your username and password to access the Tumblr upload site.

2. Copy the URL of your picture location displayed at the bottom of the page.

3. Click "Preferences," then "Customize," then "Info."

4. Type the following code in the text field:

   <img src="IMAGEURL"/>

   <br/>

   Replace "IMAGEURL" with the URL of your photo.

5. Click "Save," then "Close."
