How to Clean White Sketchers

Things You'll Need

• Dishwashing powder
• Water
• Toothbrush
• Soft cloth
• Leather cleaning soap
• Conditioning leather lotion
• Mild dishwashing soap

Instructions

1. Use dishwashing powder to clean white canvas areas of Skechers shoes. Mix the powder with enough hot water to make a paste and spread it onto the surface of the shoes. Allow the paste to soak into the fabric for at least 30 minutes. Scrub the canvas with a toothbrush then rinse the soap off. If the shoes have leather parts, then it is best to wipe the soap off with a wet cloth. Rinse the cloth when it is saturated with soap then continue cleaning. Repeat the process until the area is free of soap. Let the shoes air dry.

2. Clean leather sections of Skechers shoes with a soft cloth and a cleaning soap for leather. Follow the manufacturer's directions for best results. Wait for the shoes to dry then apply a conditioning leather lotion.

3. Clean rubber areas of the Skechers shoes with a soft cloth and warm water mixed with a mild soap, such as a dishwashing soap. Rinse the cloth clean. Use it to wipe the soap residue off.
