How to Delete Interests on Facebook

Sharing your interests is a common and effective way to connect with other people both offline and on the Internet. Facebook follows a similar method by allowing you to provide personal information on your account. These include favorite music, movies, hobbies and more. Such interests are ultimately shared with everyone who has access to your profile. Once a particular interest type is applied you can also remove it at any time directly from your account's main options.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account and click "Profile" from the upper-right portion of the homepage.

2. Click "Edit Profile" and then select the "Activities and Interests" tab to the left.

3. Click the interest you wish to delete from the "Interests" field.

4. Click the "Remove" option available. Press "Save Changes" to apply the updated interests list.
