How to Set Up Another Email Address to Get on Facebook

Allowing other email addresses enables various users to manage a single account.

Facebook is a social networking platform that provides a wide variety of user-friendly and intuitive features. Among these, users are allowed to sign in to an account using more than one email address. Essentially, this enables two or more individuals to manage the account in question and administer it without sharing the same email credentials.

Instructions

1. Log on to the Facebook profile you wish to modify. Click "Account" from the upper-right portion of the screen, and then select "Account Settings."

2. Click "Change" next to the "Email" field.

3. Enter a new email address into the "New Contact Email" field, and then click "Add New Email."

4. Enter your current Facebook password to confirm the new email settings, and then click "Confirm." Facebook will send a confirmation email to the address to verify its validity.

5. Log on to the email address you registered on Facebook. Click the Facebook message titled "Facebook Contact Email Confirmation."

6. Click the link inside the email to confirm the new email address and complete the procedure.
