How to Become a Citizen of Neriak

Everquest 2 is a massively multiplayer online game developed and run by Sony Online Entertainment. It was released in 2004 and has seen six expansion packs and, as of May 2011, is still maintained regularly. Everquest 2 is based around a good versus evil alignment system that involves several key cities. Neriak is the evil aligned City of Hate and is the home of the Dark Elves in Everquest 2. Becoming a Citizen of Neriak gives players a small amount of experience and also opens up several different evil-based quest lines to complete.

Instructions

1. Start the Citizenship quest by talking to Exporter Makarios in Indigo Hollow. This will spawn Makarios's courier.

2. Talk to the courier to continue the Citizenship quest.

3. Escort the courier from Neriak through The Commonlands to Freeport. Defend the courier from any monsters along the way.

4. Talk to Importer Strathcona at the Freeport Gate to continue the quest. The courier will go straight to the Importer, allowing you to continue.

5. Return to Neriak and speak to Exporter Makarios to finish the Citizenship quest.

Tips & Warnings

• Start the Citizenship quest when you are at full health and mana, otherwise you can be caught unprepared to defend the courier.

• Be careful when in The Commonlands, as monsters there can range from level 5 all the way up to 15.
