How to Remove Posts Based on Date

Delete your old blog posts.

If you have a blog in which you post regularly, you can change its look by deleting posts you no longer need or want readers to see online. Blog post entries are listed by date on your blogging format -- with the latest post being first and later posts coming afterward. Most blogging formats -- including Typepad, Blogger, Wordpress -- provide an easy interface for writing blogs and deleting them by date.

Instructions

1. Log in to your blogging platform. Scroll through your posts. Some blogging platforms, such as WordPress, require you to click the "Posts" link to see your list by date.

2. Double-click the post you want to delete.

3. Click "Move to Trash" or "Delete." For example, in WordPress, you will move your post to the trash. In TypePad, you will click the red "Delete" button attached to the post. In Blogger, you will click the blue "Delete" button attached to the post.
