Things You'll Need
- Color printer
- Iron-on-decal paper
- 2 black stretch fabric headbands
- Small dark blue cloth (mask)
- Long red cloth (cape)
- Dark blue jumpsuit
- Black boots
- Two black belts
- Long black gloves
- Permanent marker
- Heavy duty stapler
Creating the Jumpsuit
Find and print a red Cobra insignia onto a piece of iron-on decal paper. This paper can be found at most major electronics stores or can be ordered online. With this paper you can make a decal of the Cobra insignia to go on your costume.
Press the Cobra insignia face down on the chest area of your dark blue jumpsuit. Iron over the insignia for about 30 seconds at a time until it has stuck to the suit.
Staple a piece of red cloth into the shoulders of the blue jumpsuit so that the cloth hangs to the back. This will serve as your cape. The cloth shouldn't go beyond your shins in order to avoid tripping.
Creating the Mask
Place a dark blue cloth over your head and face and carefully mark with a permanent marker the location of your eyes. The cloth should reach no further than the base of your neck.
Remove the cloth and cut holes with scissors the size of your eyes around the area you marked with the permanent marker.
Place the mask back on your face and test for visibility. If you are unable to to see, cut the holes for the eyes a bit larger.
Assembling the Costume
Put on the dark blue jumpsuit. Be careful to avoid damaging the Cobra insignia that you just ironed on to the chest of the jumpsuit.
Place two black headbands around the upper left leg. These bands are roughly four to five inches from each other and can only be placed on the costume after you have the jumpsuit on.
Attach two black belts around the waist of the jump suit. The first belt should be placed in the area that you would keep a belt on your own body. The other should be placed slightly higher than the previous belt. Attach various holders and holsters to the belts as desired.
Put on long black gloves that overlap the sleeves of the jumpsuit and long black boots with the legs of the jumpsuit tucked inside of the boots.
Put the cloth mask on over your head. The eye holes should line up with your eyes.
