How Do I Permanently Clear a Search History From Google?

Clear the search history from your Google searches to cover your tracks after browsing the Internet. Your Web browser stores information about your Internet habits whenever you visit a website, click a link or use a search engine. To avoid your history coming up in the search bar of Google, use the history settings of your browser to clear the temporary Internet files on your computer.

Instructions

1. Open an Internet Explorer window.

2. Click the "Tools" icon on the toolbar, and point to "Safety." Click "Delete Browsing History."

3. Click the checkbox for "History," "Form Data" and "Temporary Internet Files." Click "Delete" to clear the search history from Google.
