How to Start a Christian Childcare Center
The steps and requirements involved in starting a Christian childcare center are the same as any other type of day care center. You will need to follow your state's licensing guidelines before starting your Christian childcare center. These requirements vary from state to state. You can involve your Christian faith when developing lesson plans and guidelines for your childcare center.

Network with Christian leaders and groups in your community. Inform your church of your business to get referrals. Be prepared to explain how your Christian childcare will differ from secular child care.

Develop a business plan and set fees. Complete guidelines and registration forms. You may want to develop rules of your childcare center such as pick up time or late payments and provide copies of these rules to parents. Join a Christian business owner group, such as the International Christian Chamber of Commerce or the Christian Business and Information Directory. You will be able to get more resources and referrals through these types of organizations.
-
7
Market your childcare center. Since you are opening a Christian childcare center, focus on your Christian worldview when you market your new business. Make fliers, create classified ads, talk to schools and other referral sources.
