How Do I Get My IP Address Unbanned?

An IP, or "Internet Protocol," refers to a series of numbers that identifies the location where you connect to the Internet. If your IP address has been banned from a certain website, you won't be able to use that site anymore from that particular address. You can unban yourself from the site by using a proxy service to hide your IP so you can connect to the site without being blocked.

Instructions

1. Download and install Gotrusted (see Resources). This program is free to try for a week, it creates an extra IP address that allows you to be unbanned from any site that is blocking you. Click the "GoTrusted" button to begin generating the proxy. This service costs a small fee per week to continue using.

2. Visit the Czech republic SSl Proxy (see Resources). Type in the website address that you want to unban yourself from. Click "Go!" on the site to bypass the block and access it.

3. Navigate to MetaCafe. click the "URL" texbtox. Right-click on the box and select "Paste" to paste in the site you want to unban. Click "GO" to visit the site inside of the proxy, which will lift the ban for the duration of your visit inside of the proxy.
