How to Find My LinkedIn URL

Locate your LinkedIn URL and share it with contacts and friends.

LinkedIn is a business networking website that can help you make new contacts and develop your career. LinkedIn users supply information about their employment history, professional qualifications, education and interests to complete a profile. Once you've completed your profile, you might want to give the URL link to your contacts or include it in the signature on your email messages. You can find your public LinkedIn URL by logging in to your account and accessing your profile.

Instructions

1. Launch your Web browser and sign in to LinkedIn.

2. Click the "Profile" link in the top menu. This opens the "Edit Profile" page.

3. Find the "Public Profile" heading. Your public profile URL is beside this heading.

4. Select and highlight the profile URL and press "Ctrl" + "V" on the computer keyboard to copy the link. You can now paste this into an email and send it to co-workers, business contacts and friends.

Tips & Warnings

• You can create a customized public profile URL by clicking the "Edit" link beside the link address on the "Edit Profile" page. This allows you to replace some of the characters in the URL with memorable text.
