How to Look for People on Loopt

Loopt allows users the chance to connect with people directly from any phone with the Loopt application.

Loopt is a free downloadable phone application useful for finding various local events, places to visit and new friends who are also using the application. Loopt allows users to make friends with the application and save visits of your own to help keep track of the different places in the world you have been to, and with whom. Finding people and friends on Loopt is simple if your friend also has the Loopt application and it does not require much time or any technical skills.

Instructions

Searching on Loopt

1. Open your computer's Internet browser (such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer) and visit Loopt's official website (loopt.com).

2. Locate the "Search" bar on the homepage of Loopt and click to enter what you are looking for.

3. Type the name of the person you are looking for or the place or event where you would like to search for people. Press "Enter" on your keyboard to live search on Loopt's network. Various results will appear in the following page based on what you entered when searching.

Searching for People on Loopt

1. Open the Loopt application on your mobile phone.

2. Click "Friends" followed by "Add More Friends" to begin searching for people.

3. Enter your friend's e-mail address, or connect with Facebook (facebook.com) and import your current friends and contacts.

4. Select which of your friends you would like to add, to send a friend request directly.
