How to Save Answers in a TI-83 Plus

You can save time making unnecessary keystrokes by storing the answer as a variable. When you need to call up the answer for the next step, simply plug the variable into your equation.

Instructions

1. Calculate the problem with the answer you want to save.

2. Press the "STO" key.

3. Press the "ALPHA" key.

4. Type the letter of the variable you want to save the answer under.

5. Press "ENTER" to save the answer as a variable in memory.
