How Do I Get the Natural Shield in "Mabinogi"?
Learning magical spells in the massively multi-player online role-playing game "Mabinogi" isn't as simple as it might sound. While other games often just give you certain spells or powers when you reach a given level, Mabinogi often makes you first learn the dialog keyword for the spell, then demands you speak that keyword to the appropriate non-player character (NPC), who will teach you the spell. This is the case with the "Magic Shield" or "Natural Shield."

Locate and enter battle against a Hobgoblin Archer.

Wait until the Hobgoblin uses the "Green Shield" ability, then attack the Hobgoblin with arrows, bolts, magic bolts or javelins. This adds the "Magic Shield" keyword to your list of dialog choices.

Travel to the NPC Kousai iin Cor village.

Talk to Kousai and select the "Magic Shield" dialog option. Kousai will teach you the "Natural Shield" spell.
