How to Decoupage on Curtains
The art of decoupage consists of attaching pieces of fabric or paper to an object, using special glue to hold it into place and provide a protective sealant. While decoupage is traditionally done on hard objects like a wooden box or piece of furniture, you can also create a decorative effect on fabric curtains. Use curtains made from thick fabric like velvet or canvas to minimize the decoupage glue seeping through to the other side. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
It's best to limit the decoupage to small areas of the curtains as the stiff nature of the finished product can affect the way the curtains hang, open and close if you cover too wide of an area.
After creating decoupage on the curtains, they can't go through the washing machine as it will ruin the artwork.
Always use adhesives in a well-ventilated area.
