How to Update an Address for FedEx
FedEx is a logistics service company known for its transportation and delivery services. Customers are able to manage their accounts online, track packages and receive electronic notifications of delivery.

Visit FedEx's website. On the homepage, click the "Manage" tab located at the top of the page. A new page will open. Scroll down until you see the "Access Address Book" link. Click on the link and sign into your account to update your address. Click the submit button to save your changes.

Call the FedEx customer service number at 1-800-463-3339. Tell the customer service representative that you want to update your address. Provide the representative with your updated address information over the telephone. He will update your new address into their system.

Update an address for a shipment already in transit by calling FedEx customer service. Provide the representative with the recipient's name and address, the updated address, and the package's tracking number. FedEx will attempt to correct the address and complete delivery. You will be charged a special handling fee for this.
