How to Make Bumble Bee Halloween Costumes for Women
A woman can make a bee costume using the same instructions used for a child's bee costume, just make on a larger scale. However, the main difference between a woman's bee costume and a child's costume is if the woman wants the costume to look sexy. Before starting to make the costume, decide if you want to add any sexy elements to the costume, such as a shorter bottom or low cut top. This will help guide you in making costume decisions.

1
Cut the yellow fabric into 6-inch thick strips. Wrap the strips around the shirt leaving six inches of black between each yellow stripe. Glue the strips to the shirt with hot glue. If the strips are too long, cut them to the correct size with scissors.

2
Cut two rectangles about two feet long and one foot high. Glue three sides of the rectangles together with hot glue. Stuff the rectangles with stuffing and glue the last side closed. This black pillow will help make the rounded back end of the bee.

3
Stuff the black pillow inside the back of the shorts or skirt. Use safety pins to hold the pillow in place.

4
Bend two wire hangers into a rounded wing shape. Glue white material to the wings. Glue the wings to the back of the shirt.
-
5
Twist two pipe cleaners around the top of a headband for antenna.

Put on the black tights, black shoes and striped shirt. Put on the stuffed skirt or shorts. Place the headband over your head to complete the costume. You can also glue a small pipe cleaner to the seat of the costume to make a stinger.
