How to Use a Nike Headphones Cable Winder

The Nike headphones cable winder is a round, plastic storage container. The clear outer ring rotates to wind up the cord on a set of Nike headphones, or any flexible headphones that will fit the storage compartment. This convenient storage device lets you safely pack up your headphones when it's time to move on, without worrying about damaging the audio cord. Winding up the headphones cord takes less than a minute.

Instructions

1. Open the clamshell case for the Nike headphones cable winder, which is hinged on one side.

2. Insert the left and right earpieces into the molded compartments inside the cable winder. Guide the headphones cable into the groove below the earpiece compartments.

3. Close the cover on the cable winder until it clicks.

4. Place the tip of your finger on the indentation in the clear clover and rotate the cover clockwise to wind up the cable into the storage compartment. Stop when the headphones plug reaches the compartment.

5. Rotate the plug so it fits in the notch on the outside of the Nike headphones cable winder. Pack the cable winder or slip it into a pocket and you're good to go.

Tips & Warnings

• Don't over wind or you could damage the headphones cable when the plug catches on the outside of the cable winder.
