How to Convert JPGs on GIMP

The open-source graphics editor GIMP offers powerful image-editing features that can compete with many expensive graphic suites. Among its plethora of image editing options, it also converts files to other formats. If you need to convert your JPG images, you can use GIMP's "Save As" utility to choose a different format. Depending on the chosen format, you may have several options to ensure the output conforms to your needs.
