How to Make Teeth Whiteners
While the most dramatic teeth-whitening results come from methods available only through a dentist, there are many over-the-counter whiteners are on the market. These at-home products can effectively remove stains and whiten teeth. However, they also tend to be expensive. Most teeth whitening products use peroxides as their main ingredients. Hydrogen peroxide is a readily available bleaching agent. You can whiten your teeth at home using hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. It costs less than over-the-counter products, and it is more convenient that having to visit the dentist.

Pour about 2 tablespoons of baking soda into a glass or cup.

Add enough hydrogen peroxide to the baking soda to make a thick paste.

Dip the toothbrush into the paste. Brush teeth as usual, repeatedly dipping the brush into the paste as needed. Baking soda is an abrasive product that scrubs stains off the teeth. Combined with the bleaching effect of the hydrogen peroxide, it helps teeth become whiter.

Tips & Warnings
This should not replace regular brushing with toothpaste. A two-minute brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste is recommended by the American Dental Association.
