How to Download TweetDeck

If you have accounts with several social networking sites then, you might want to download and install the TweetDeck application. TweetDeck allows you to add accounts from all the main social networking sites so that you can manage them all in one place. You can read updates and messages from your Twitter account, Facebook and LinkedIn in TweetDeck. You can also post messages, updates, photos and videos to your social networks through the TweetDeck interface. Download and install TweetDeck by visiting its website and clicking the download link.

Instructions

1. Open your Web browser, and navigate to tweetdeck.com/desktop.

2. Click the "Download now, it's Free" button.

3. Click "Run" from the pop-up dialog box. This automatically downloads and installs the TweetDeck application to your computer.

4. Wait for the download and installation process to complete. Windows shows a progress bar during this process.

5. Click "Start" on the desktop taskbar. Click "All Programs," and then select TweetDeck from the programs list.

6. Click the "Get Started" button on the TweetDeck "Welcome" screen. This opens TweetDeck on your computer.

Tips & Warnings

• Add social networks to TweetDeck by clicking "Settings" and then "Accounts." Select the social network from the list of available networks. When prompted, enter your user name and password for this social networking site in the authorization pop-up window. You can view the feeds from each of your networks in the main TweetDeck program window.
