How to Find Missing Downloads on Firefox Download Manager

Users of the Mozilla Firefox browser can download programs, documents, videos and images from Web pages using the built-in Firefox Download Manager. When a downloadable file is clicked inside Firefox, the Download Manager window launches showing the progress of the download. The download is then saved to the default location established by Firefox. Launch the Download Manager if you cannot find the location where the download saved to.

Instructions

1. Click "Start," "All Programs" and then "Mozilla Firefox."

2. Click "Tools" from the top menu of Firefox, and then click "Downloads" from the drop-down menu. The Download Manager window launches with a list downloads.

3. Right-click the download that you wish to locate, and click "Open Containing Folder." If you cannot easily locate the download, enter the name of the download in the "Search" field of the Download Manager. A window launches containing the location of the download file.
