How to Take Skype Off of Facebook

Skype is a free software program that you can use from your Facebook account. If you've downloaded the application to your account you can take advantage of the various features of Skype through Facebook. You can download Skype itself for free from Skype.com. It allows its users to communicate using video, audio and text. If you no longer want the Skype application on Facebook, you can remove it from your applications list.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Facebook.com and login to your account.

2. Click the "Account" menu, then select "Privacy settings."

3. Click "Edit your settings" under "Apps and Websites."

4. Click "Edit Settings" under "Apps you use."

5. Click the "X" button next to the Skype application.

6. Click "Remove." The system will inform you the application has been removed.
