How to Get Points on a Kroger Loyalty Card thumbnail
Buying groceries is one way to get points on your Kroger loyalty card.

Kroger grocery stores provide a loyalty card to frequent customers. With a loyalty card you can accumulate points with every purchase; when you have enough points you start collecting rewards such as gas and grocery discounts. In addition to obtaining points at Kroger locations you can also accumulate points when you swipe your loyalty card at the gas pump at any Shell gas station.

Instructions

Go grocery shopping. When you spend money on groceries in Kroger stores, the program will add one point to your loyalty card for every dollar you spend. Simply present your card to the cashier at checkout to have your points added to your card.

Use the pharmacy at Kroger grocery stores. For every two non-federally funded prescriptions you have filled at Kroger pharmacies you earn 100 loyalty points. You must give your Kroger loyalty card to the pharmacist that checks you out.

Purchase Kroger gift cards for friends and family members. Gift card purchases earn double points. If you purchase $100 worth of gift cards, you will earn 200 loyalty points when you give your card to the cashier as you check out.
