Twitter and Facebook are two social media websites that allow you to create free accounts with which you can post brief status updates to your personal networks on the sites. Many people maintain accounts on both websites, and Twitter has created an official application that allows you to cross-post to both Twitter and Facebook simultaneously. However, if you later find that you no longer want all your tweets to cross-post as Facebook status updates, you can easily disable the application and disconnect your two accounts.

Log in to the Facebook account you want to unlink from your Twitter.

Visit the Facebook Twitter app at apps.facebook.com/twitter.

Uncheck the box next to "Facebook Profile" under the App Permissions section. Your Tweets immediately stop posting to your Facebook.
