How to Insert a WMV File Into a Website in Dreamweaver CS3

Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 includes a wide range of tools to help you create webpages. Insert dynamic objects such applets, Flash objects and plugins using the versatile interface. The coding needed to run the object is automatically inserted by Dreamweaver into your webpage. Insert a WMV file in your website pages with Dreamweaver CS3 tools.

Instructions

1. Open your HTML file in Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. Place the cursor in the document where you want to position the WMV file.

2. Select "Insert," "Media" and then "Plugin." Choose the WMV file and click "OK." The "<embed>" code is inserted with values to play your WMV. Modify the width and height values of your control as needed.

3. Click "Common" from the Insert panel. Click the "Media" arrow and choose "Plugin" from the drop-down. Select the WMV file and click "OK."
