How to Save Out One Page to a New File in Microsoft Word
Use Microsoft Word 2010 to copy and paste parts of a saved file to a new Word file. Text, spreadsheets, charts and images will copy with the format intact to the new file. The Home tab on the command ribbon contains the copy and paste commands in the "Clipboard" group. The Clipboard task pane collects and displays your selected items for pasting.

Open the saved Word document.

Open a new Word document.

Click and drag the pointer on the saved file from the top of the page to the bottom of the page. This highlighted section appears blue.

Press "Ctrl"+"C" to copy the highlighted section. You can also click the "Copy" button in the "Clipboard" group on the "Home" tab.

Insert the pointer in the new Word file.

Press "Ctrl"+"V" to paste this section into the new file. You can also click the "Paste" button in the "Clipboard" group. The highlighted contents appear in the new file.

Tips & Warnings
Click the dialog box launcher in the bottom right corner of the "Clipboard" group to view the Clipboard task pane. The Clipboard collects up to 24 items to paste to another Office document.
