How to Unsubscribe From Orkut
Orkut is a social networking website managed and owned by Google, similar to MySpace and Facebook. With Orkut you can meet new people or connect with friends and family online. Orkut requires that you have a Google account to subscribe. If you do not like Orkut or don't use it, unsubscribe from the service, which in turn deletes your Orkut profile. Unsubscribing from Orkut is a simple and straight-forward process.

Open your browser and visit Orkut.com. Enter your Google account email and password into the appropriate fields and click "Sign In."

Click the "Settings" link along the left side of the page, below your profile picture.

Click on the "General" tab then scroll down and locate the "My account" section.

Click on "Delete my Orkut account." A new page will appear.

Click the "Delete my account" link. Google will redirect you to an account page where you must confirm unsubscribing from the Orkut service.

Check the box next to "Yes, I want to permanently remove Orkut from my Google account." Click the "Remove Orkut" button.
