How to Video Chat From a Mac to PC With Google Talk
Macs and PCs don't always share the same software. If your friend is using a different type of computer than you use, you may be wondering if you will be able to use Google Video Chat together. Luckily, Google Video Chat is compatible with both PCs and Macs. Best of all, you do not have to be using the same type of computer in order to use this application.

Install the Google Voice and Video Chat browser plugin. This plugin is compatible with both Windows and Mac, so you do not need to look for separate versions of the plugin. This plugin can also be used with any browser software.

Restart your web browser. Use this time to make sure that your webcam, microphone and headset/speakers are all connected.

Sign in to your Gmail account. Scroll down to the Chat menu. Click on your friend's name in the chat pane in order to create a chat window. Click on the video camera icon to start your video chat.
