How to Make a Word Document
Creating a Word document is a simple task. You only need to have Microsoft Word installed on your system. Once the Word document is created on your computer, you can personalize it by adding your content.

Launch Microsoft Word. Click the "Start" menu and go to "All Programs." Select "Microsoft Word" from the list of applications given in "All Programs" to open this application.

Open a new Word document. Press "Ctrl" and "O" keys. Alternatively, click "File" from top menu options and select "New" to open a new Word document.

Press "Ctrl" and "S" to save the document. Select the destination folder in which you want to save the document. Also, specify a name for your Word file. Press "OK."

Start typing into the Word document to add its content.

Edit the Word document. Microsoft Word offers a variety of editing tools that are given on the top of the document. For instance, you can change font or page background colors, embolden or italicize text, specify indentations, paragraphs, margins and borders, and do lots more.

Close the Word document. Press "Ctrl" and "S" to save your work before closing the document. Press "Alt" and "F4" function key to exit Word. Alternatively, you can click the cross given on the top right of the document to close it.
