How Can I Make the Text Bigger in Firefox? thumbnail
You can increase the font size on Web pages in Firefox for comfortable reading.

Some Web masters and designers choose font sizes for their Web pages that look good visually but are not easy to read. In most modern browsers, such as Firefox, you can adjust the font size and make the text larger on the page through keyboard or menu commands. In some cases increasing the text size has a negative effect on the formatting of the page but the readability is improved. Firefox lets you increase text size on a per-page basis or set a minimum font size for all pages.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open Firefox.

    • 2

Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" key to increase font size on the page. If you make the font size too large, press and hold the "Ctrl" key and press the "-" key to make the font size smaller.

    • 3

Click "Tools" then "Options." Click the "Content" tab.

    • 4

Click the "Advanced" button next to "Default Font" and "Size." Click the "minimum Font Size" drop-down menu and select a minimum font size for all web pages. If the fonts on a Web page are smaller than the minimum size you have selected, Firefox will increase the font size to that minimum. Click "OK." Click "OK" to close the "Options" window.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want to return the text size on a Web page to the normal size, press and hold the "Ctrl" key and press "0".
