How to Repair Snap on Pants

Turn the knob on the snap setter right or left to align the device with the anvil. Place the snap on the bottom ring of the snap setter. Ensure the cap post is facing upward. Fit the post through the hole on the exterior portion of your pants so the decorative portion of the snap button is on the outside of the pants. The post should be on the interior of the pants. Position the socket over the capped post.

Apply pressure on the snap setter by squeezing the handle to lock the capped post and socket together. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to attach the stud portion of the snap button, as well as the socket to the interior part of your jeans.
