How to Alter the Mayor's Statue in the "Grinch"

"The Grinch" PlayStation video game has the Grinch playing pranks on the people in Whoville. One of his targets is the statue of the mayor, which he turns into a statue of the Grinch. This mission, which takes place in the first section of the game, has to be completed before you can move on to other deeds. The prank isn't hard to pull off, but first the player has to find the right tools.

• Egg launcher

Instructions

1. Play until you receive the "Alter the Mayor's Statue" mission, then go to Whoville's city hall. Use the egg launcher to shoot the clock in front of the city hall to gain entrance to the building.

2. Go to the Mayor's office across from the statue room. Slide the filing cabinet over to expose a safe. Drag the safe out and perform the "Butt Drop" maneuver on it to get the hammer and chisel.

3. Tiptoe out of the mayor's office and into the statue room. Perform the "Breathe" maneuver to expose the room's laser security beams.

4. Jump over the beams toward the security button. Hit the security button, then move to the front of the statue. If you have the hammer and chisel while you're in front of the statue, the statue will automatically change.
