How to Connect 2 Computers Through a Router, 1 With Ethernet Cable & 1 Wireless
Many homes and small businesses use wireless routers to connect multiple computers to a single high-speed Internet connection, such as cable or DSL. When a wireless router is installed, computers can connect directly with a wired Ethernet connection, or through the router's wireless access point. All computers on the network connect to the router and are therefore connected to each other. You can connect two computers through a router with one using a wired connection and the other using a wireless connection.
