How to Change My Google Voice Voicemail Back to Android

Android users may switch their voicemail service from the carrier default to Google Voice voicemail for convenience because voicemails can be accessed on the phone and through the Google Voice website. Instructions

1. Press the "Settings" icon.

2. Press "Call Settings."

3. Press the "Voicemail service" icon.

4. Select "My carrier" as the voicemail service rather than "Google Voice."

5. Type in the voicemail number. This is typically "*86" but may be different depending on your carrier. If you are unsure, consult the user manual that came with your phone.

6. Press "OK" to change the voicemail on your Android phone from Google Voice voicemail to the default Android voicemail.
