How to Use Dutch Master Zone
Hydroponic gardening is a method of growing vegetables and other plants without the use of soil. Instead, the plants are held in a growth medium, with their roots soaking in a nutrient mix. Light is generally provided by high -powered artificial lights set on a timer. The advantage to growing this way is that by scientifically controlling every aspect of the plant's nutrient uptake and growth cycle, higher yielding, faster growing plants can be achieved. Dutch Master Zone is a root conditioner for hydroponic systems that is available in three different strengths. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Use light strength Dutch Master Zone for daily root conditioning. This strength can be used from the initial planting until the harvest. This is also recommended for use when the water temperature is below 70 degrees F. Add 1 tsp. of Dutch Master Zone per five gallons of final reservoir volume after adding the primary nutrients and additives.

2
Use medium strength when the water temperature has reached exceeded beyond 74 degrees F. At this temperature root systems can become damaged. Add 2 tsp. of medium strength Dutch Master Zone per 5 gallons of final reservoir volume after adding all of the primary nutrients and additives. When the water temperature has gone back down below 70 degrees, go back to using light strength.

Use aggressive strength Dutch Master Zone if problems arise in the root zone. This formula is designed to restore optimal root zone conditions. Add 2 1/2 tsp. per 5 gallons of final reservoir volume after you have added the primary nutrients and all additives. Once the plants have regained their energy, switch to medium strength for the entire length of their flowering and growing cycles.

Tips & Warnings
Check the calibration of the water with a pH meter after adding nutrients. If in doubt, you can use a liquid test kit, or the readily available test strips.
The size of the storage bin for the reservoir depends on the size of the plant tray.
Store the nutrient reservoir under a table. If a table is not available, you can place the plant tray on top of the reservoir.
