ICal is the default calendar application that comes with every Mac computer.

As an Apple iPhone user you have two options when looking to create an event for the device's Calendars application: you can create the event directly within the Calendars application or create it in the computer's default calendar program and sync it with the iPhone through iTunes. For Mac users, this default calendar program is iCal. If you want to create a new iCal event for your iPhone, you can do so in a few simple steps.
