How to Make a Fake Ghost
Ghosts are classic decorations at Halloween. There are a huge variety available to purchase in stores, but you can easily make your own using materials that you probably have around your home. Trash bag ghosts are easy, quick and inexpensive, allowing you to create as many as you want even on a small budget. You can also use trash bags in different sizes to create a variety of spirits to haunt your yard. Does this Spark an idea?

Wad up several sheets of newspaper into a ball.

Stuff the newspaper ball into one corner of a large, white trash bag. This will form the head, with the corner forming a small tip.

Tie the bag closed under the ball with string.

Shred the open end of the bag with scissors, creating a lot of loose tatters.

Draw a face on the ghost's head with a permanent marker.

Tie several knots in the end of a long piece of string, then tape it to the tip on the ghost's head with packing tape. The knots will keep the string from slipping through the tape.

Hang the ghost in an area where the wind will catch the tatters.
