How to Program a Sony Universal Remote Control

1. Press the Off button and the Mute button on the remote at the same time.

2. Press the Component Select button for the device you wish to program.

3. Enter the two-digit code of the product you are programming into the remote and push the Enter key.

4. Look up the codes you need to program your Sony Universal Remote on the Sony Remote Code Support website.

• If your exact product is not listed, try the codes for other products from the same manufacturer. Typically a manufacturer will use similar programming codes for all of their products.
