How to Use Mailwasher With Thunderbird

Mailwasher will work with any email program including Mozilla Thunderbird

Mailwasher is anti-spam software that checks the messages in your email account while they are still on the mail server and filters them for spam before you download them with your email program. You can preview the text of the emails within Mailwasher and delete spam or unwanted email. Mailwasher works with the email software on your computer, including Mozilla Thunderbird, and opens the email program after the spam has been deleted.

Instructions

1. Open MailWasher. Click the "Settings" button.

2. Click "General Options." Click the "Specify" drop-down menu next to "Launch Email Application After Processing" and select "Mozilla Thunderbird." Click "OK."

3. Click "Check Mail" to download mail from your mail server. Click "Process Mail." MailWasher will delete all messages marked as spam and open Mozilla Thunderbird. Click "Get Mail" to download your email messages.
