How to Build a Frameset in Dreamweaver CS3

A frameset is simply a frame for your HTML page that can serve as a text box, an image box or a location for a Flash file. When building a frameset in Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, you have the freedom to choose where you want to place the frameset. This means that if you want a frameset to mark the place for a banner across the top of your page you can do so just as easily as you can build a frameset along the side of the page for a vertical ad.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 and click "File" and "New" to open a new HTML document.

    • 2

Click the "Insert" menu, then select "HTML."
