How to Throw People Out of the Ring in Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007

Save

"Smackdown vs. Raw 2007" has a few options available for throwing your opponent out of the ring. The only way to win a "Royal Rumble" match is to throw all of your opponents over the top rope, but for the rest of the matches throwing an opponent out of the ring is done only to hurt them and make them easier to beat. There are a few moves that will accomplish this during regular matches and only one move that works during a "Royal Rumble" match.

Throwing People Out During a Royal Rumble Match

  • Approach your opponent during a "Royal Rumble" match. Use the right joystick to initiate a quick grapple.

  • Hold the right bumper button and "A" while using an Xbox 360 to do a strong "Irish Whip" move into the ropes. Hold "R1" and "X" to perform this move on a PlayStation 2. Run after your opponent when you throw them with the "Irish Whip" maneuver.

  • Use the right joystick when they reach the ropes to initiate another grappling move. This will start a struggle where you'll need to push buttons repeatedly to lower your opponent's "Resistance" meter. Your opponent will be thrown over the top rope and out of the ring once the meter is down to zero.

Ways to Throw Opponents Out of the Ring During Regular Matches

  • Press the right joystick while you're in a strong grapple with an opponent to initiate an "Ultimate Control Move."

  • Follow the instructions as they appear on the screen to choose between your available moves. Each wrestler gets four of these moves.

  • Perform either a "Backbreaker," "Chokeslam," "Powerbomb" or "Lift Up" move while facing the ring ropes to throw your opponent out of the ring.
