      Decide what kind of dog you want to draw. Look up and print a reference photo of that dog.

      Put your image under a piece of tracing paper. Trace the shape of the head and the body. Continue to trace the facial features, but trace these lightly. They should include the eyes, nose, mouth and teeth.

      Draw over the lightly drawn mouth a little harder and exaggerate it. Make the mouth bigger. Draw lots of sharp teeth. Don't be afraid to make them ridiculously large and sharp. Draw drool dripping out of its mouth.

      Continue to exaggerate your original trace by drawing over the original claws. Add extra long and sharp claws to your drawing.
