How to Make Apple-Seed Bracelets
Apples produce seeds that are uniformly oval in shape and a pretty dark-brown hue. When these seeds dry, they become darker and harder, and they can be used to make a striking piece of casual jewelry. Make an apple-seed bracelet with a child or make one for yourself. This piece of jewelry adds a bit of country chic to any outfit.

1
Collect apple seeds by removing them from the apple cores after you have eaten the apples. Rinse the apple seeds gently in water and then spread them out flat to dry.
-
2
Dry the apple seeds for a full day or until they are completely dry to the touch.
-
-
3
Measure around your wrist with the measuring tape, creating a loop that is big enough to be slipped off your wrist but that will stay on without being too loose or tight. Add 4 inches to that measurement.
-
4
Cut a piece of fishing wire the length of the measurement you took.
-
5
Thread the fishing wire through a metal needle.
-
6
String each apple seed onto the fishing wire by using the metal needle to puncture the solid center of the seed. Continue until you have enough apple seeds on the fishing wire to make a solid ring around your wrist.
-
7
Tie the loose ends firmly in a knot and trim off the excess wire.
